Terra Nova National Park became the most easterly national park in Canada in 1957.
More than 400 square kilometres of boreal forest reaching out into the open sea, and a myriad of sheltered bays, rugged shores, rolling forested hills with numerous ponds and bogs, are protected within its boundaries. Terra Nova National Park is your gateway to nature, discovery and adventure; a place where long fingers of the sea beckon you to explore.

a must at the Terra Nova Golf Resort.
Twin Rivers, a platinum award-winning course, plays over the turning, bubbling rapids of two salmon rivers and along the rugged coastline of the Atlantic Ocean.
Eagle Creek, a 9-hole course adjacent to Twin Rivers, is equally challenging and picturesque.
Sea Kayaking -
one of the best ways to explore the fascinating marine environment and coastline of Terra Nova.
Guided interpretive sea kayaking tours are available at the Marine Interpretation Centre by Terra Nova Adventures.
